Micah Fogarty has spent her career advocating for business and individual clients. She focuses her practice in the areas of high net worth estate and tax planning; federal, state, and local tax controversy; entity formation, operation, and termination; tax-exempt organizations; and tax planning for both individuals and business entities. She works closely with clients in establishing and implementing sophisticated wealth transfer strategies, charitable planning, and business formation and restructuring. Micah also has extensive experience in the area of civil tax controversies (administrative and litigation) with the Internal Revenue Service, the Florida Department of Revenue, and the U.S. Department of Justice in all areas of tax, including estate and gift tax issues.
Micah received her LL.M. in Taxation and her J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law where she served as a member of the Florida Law Review. She is board certified in tax by the Florida Bar. Micah is also active in the Tax Section of the Florida Bar.
Micah has been involved with the Tampa Museum of Art for over 15 years and is currently serving as an officer on the Foundation Board.
